We must speak on this affliction

By no means is this blog an "Angry Black Woman" venting session. I only hope that my words cause you as an individual to spend time in a reflective mode to see where you are and establish where you want to be.

In today's world we have heard the popular words of @iamdiddy's BITCHASNESS and now with the twitter craze it has been converted into "TWITCHASSNESS." Yet, have we forgotten about the epidemic that has plagued this world since the beginning of time? Yes, you guessed right, it is HALFASSNESS. This is truly killing off more lives than the bubonic plague. So many individuals have a misconstrued perception that by giving a half-ass effort you will somehow produce the results of an individual giving all that they have.
50 = 50, clearly 50 does not equal 100. If you want 100, what will you have to give? Yes, you guessed right again, you must be a genius. You have to give 100. With so many people loosely using phrases, "I keep it 100" "Just be 100 with me" and the like thereof, you would think that the world would not be filled with so many individuals giving an overall sub par effort in life at their best.

By no means is it realistic to expect an individual to give there all, every moment of their life. However, it is important to realize that what you put in will always be what you get out. There are days that "the ball will be dropped." It is then necessary to embrace the fact that we may not see the results we ultimately desired due to that fact.
For my Christian folks, I already know you may be thinking, "well God will do the rest.” Yes He will, but He will step in once you have COMPLETELY given a situation over to Him and have FULL-HEARTEDLY placed your trust in the Lord. Did you realize that complete submission is required? If we partially allow God to do His job or partially trust in Him, the results will not be the same as COMPLETE and TOTAL submission and faith.

This blog was just to serve as enlightenment not only to you, but to myself as well. I heard once, "Life is what you make it, can't nobody tell you different." Wake up with a cheerful heart and joy in your heart, no matter what is endured throughout that day joy will still dwell within if you allow it. I choose to strive for "100" every moment of my life. What about you? You going for 100 or you cool with the 50?
Do not point the blame; I repeat DO NOT point the blame at others. Step up and take full responsibility for your life and your actions. If you only live up to 90% of your potential, you will only complete 90% of what you were placed on this Earth to do and recognize 90% of the gift placed within.

In closing leave the halfassness behind, and embark the beginning of a life of doing things with all that you've got.
One love
~Juice~
